Isabelle Murphy

Principal

Isabelle works with QMS clients to establish and implement strategic initiatives that achieve exceptional improvements in individual, team, leadership, and corporate development.

Her specialties are in the area of; diversity, equity, and inclusive leadership development, executive coaching, communication and presentation skills, strategic team development, change management, program design, and facilitation.

Isabelle is a certified Diversity and Inclusion Professional, completing the Cornell University Graduate Certificate program in 2018. She is an accredited Executive and Co-Active Coach, and a member of the International Federation of Coaches (IFC). She graduated from Boston College with a degree in Education and Business Management. Isabelle is a Master Facilitator and continues her education in the areas of social psychology and organizational development. Isabelle is certified in MBTI Step I & II, Situational Leadership, Leading with Emotional Intelligence and Lean Six Sigma Certified Yellow Belt & Facilitator. Isabelle has completed programs with Edgar Schein on Process Consultation & Managed Change, Roger Schwarz on Master Facilitation Skills, and Daniel Goleman on Emotional Intelligence. She has studied extensively with Dr. Deborah Plummer and had the privilege of co-facilitating with Dr. Plummer at the Cape Cod Institute: Advanced Inclusion – Getting to “We”.

She has twelve years of experience as a consultative sales professional and team manager. Her extensive experience brings a real-world perspective to all projects she manages, providing clients with personalized value-driven solutions.

In 2000 Isabelle established QMS ~ Quintessential Management Solutions, LLC as a multi-faceted consulting firm, specializing in inclusive leadership and professional development. Since that time, QMS has grown to become a highly-respected training and development consortium, serving clients in all industries.

Colleen Franca

Senior Consultant

Colleen is passionate about using her coaching and consulting skills to help individuals, teams and organizations gain clarity on their business and professional goals and take actions toward being their most successful. Whether a client seeks coaching on transitioning to a new role, addressing their board meeting challenges, or strengthening their relationships, she will ensure they are equipped to do so.

In her 20+ years, Colleen has had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients in various disciplines including Financial, Legal, HR, Sales and Technology. Her areas of expertise include executive coaching, management and leadership development, team building, and change management.

Prior to joining QMS, she was Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness for Oppenheimerfunds, a leading global asset management firm based in New York City. In this role, she worked directly with business leaders to provide consulting and learning and development solutions in support of their strategies, goals and talent management process. She also developed strategies for and led a team of HR Technology professionals.

She created competency models and designed and facilitated learning and consulting projects for intact teams, team leaders, and individual contributors on subjects including building strong teams, transitioning to management, leadership development, emotional intelligence and communication skills. She developed the Enterprise Learning Curriculum which provided programs and learning opportunities that addressed core competencies for all levels including the firm’s flagship Management and Leadership Development Program.

She has authored numerous articles, most recently: “Do Women and Men Lead Differently”, “Developing Emotional Intelligence and “The Case for Emotionally Intelligent Lawyers” and has served on the committee for the Women’s Venture Fund, an organization dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs succeed in business.

Colleen holds a BFA from FIT, and certificates in Management & Organization Development from New York University and Executive Leadership from Columbia University. She has also studied consulting with Peter Block, Flawless Consulting and coaching with Annie McKee, Teleos Leadership Institute. She has experience with a number of psychometric instruments including DISC, Social Styles, Caliper, Personalysis and is certified on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. In addition, Colleen is certified in Focusing and is working toward her certification as a CTI Co-Active Coach.

Karen Cvitkovich

Senior Consultant

Karen’s passion is collaborating with clients and partners to ensure successful business results between international counterparts, leaders and multinational teams. Her holistic approach brings her beyond culture, and into the intricacies of how international business is carried-out, allowing her to help solve complex people, process, and systemic global challenges.

Karen’s primary focus areas include Global Leadership Development, Multinational Teams, Global Negotiations and Influence, Matrix Management, Business and Executive Coaching and Change Management.

Over the last 20 years, Karen has had the opportunity to work with clients and partners on global projects in 40+ countries across all continents. She has developed and led multinational teams in Europe, the USA and Asia/Pacific.

Karen previously served as Managing Director for Global Talent Development at Eaton Consulting Group/Aperian Global, and has worked as a Senior Consultant in intercultural consulting, coaching and multinational teambuilding for two decades. She has designed and facilitated learning and consulting projects for intact teams, team leaders, and individual contributors on subjects including globalization, negotiations, conflict resolution, multinational teambuilding, global leadership and virtual communications.

Prior to this, Karen served as Director of Training for United Way of Mass Bay, and Regional Director for EF Education. A frequent speaker at various industry conferences such as SHRM, ASTD and SIIC and the author of several articles, Karen has most recently conducted research on “What is Different about Global Leadership”, which is the topic of a book co-authored with Dr. Ernest Gundling and Terry Hogan, published in June 2011. Karen’s second book, published September, 2015, “Leading Across New Boarders: How to Succeed as the Center Shifts” explores how shifts in the world economies, demographics and culture will impact the challenges and strategies of today’s global leaders.

Karen holds Master’s degree in Training & Organization Development from Lesley University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Human Resources from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Karen has experience with a number of psychometric instruments, and is certified on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Hay Group Leadership / Climate Instrument. In addition, Karen has participated in a certificate program with the NeuroLeadership Institute and is a certified CTI Co-Active Coach.

Don Benenson, SPHR

Program Manager

Don’s specialties are in the developing and facilitation of: customized management and leadership development, executive development, organizational culture change, and executive coaching. He is also well versed in the analysis and improvement of core HR functions in staffing, performance management, HR compliance and employee relations. (more…)

Archie Tew

Program Manager

Archie has designed, created and delivered experiential learning programs for thousands of people, in over 100 companies world wide.

The programs have focused on cultural change, leadership development, team development, personal growth (both personal and professional), creativity, innovation, strategic planning and visioning sessions.

Archie also designs and delivers programs in the public sector for leaders and associates from GS 13 to executive level.  He is a Faculty Speaker at both Federal Leadership Training Centers in the U.S and have designed and delivered seminars for many agencies in the U.S. Federal Government including NSA, FAA, GSA, TSA, NRC, IRS, DOE, NIH, CDOT NNSA, Army, Air Force, CDC and NATO at the Hague.
